Since the Ministry of of Public Security took over the State management of aviation security from the Ministry of Transport, it has led relevant under-ministerial units to draft legal documents in an effort to complete a comprehensive legal framework for the Public Security Forces to effectively perform aviation security tasks.

Accordingly, the Immigration Department, which takes the primary responsibility, has founded the Aviation Security Center. The center is tasked to monitor, maintain aviation security, as well as prevent, detect and handle cases related to aviation security.

Since the takeover of the responsibility, the MPS has rapidly consolidated the organization of the aviation security force and led the force to ensure absolute aviation security.
