National Data Center Party Organization holds first Party Congress for 2025–2030 term

PSNews - The Party Organization of the National Data Center (NDC) solemnly convened its first Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term on the morning of August 27, in Hanoi.

Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long attended the event and delivered a keynote speech. 

On February 25, 2025, the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security announced the establishment of the National Data Center and its Party organization. The founding of the NDC was identified by the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry’s leadership as a “breakthrough” and pioneering move of the Public Security Forces toward the implementation of Politburo Resolution No. 57.

Therefore, the First Party Congress of the NDC is a politically significant event, marking a historic milestone in the formation and development of the center for the 2025–2030 period and beyond.

In his keynote speech, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long commended the NDC Party Committee and all officers and enlistees of the unit for their achievements over the past time.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long showed his consensus on the draft resolution of the congress, and requested the NDC Party Committee to actively advise the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security to further complete the legal framework for national digital transformation.

In addition, the Deputy Minister requested the NDC to effectively manage, operate and ensure the security and safety of the system, while effectively exploiting and utilizing data and clearly defining mechanisms for connection, sharing and synchronization of data.

He also stressed the need to promptly propose the establishment of National Data Center No. 2 and No. 3 for the management of data industrial zones, comprehensively collect and manage derivative data as a foundation to develop new utilities, and apply artificial intelligence to its data management and utilization to best serve national governance and public life.

The congress elected an 8-member Executive Committee of the NDC Party Organization for the 2025–2030 term and selected the delegation to attend the 8th Congress of the Public Security Central Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term.
