Minister Luong Tam Quang visits Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd.

Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang, leading a delegation from the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, paid a working visit to Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd. (SEVT) on the morning of June 8, in Thai Nguyen province.

Welcoming the high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security were General Director of Samsung Vietnam Na Ki Hong, General Director of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Kim Lee Soo and representatives of Samsung Vietnam's member companies.

At the meeting, a leader of Samsung Vietnam briefed the Minister and delegates on its business operations in Vietnam in general and in Thai Nguyen province in particular, underscoring that Vietnam remains a strategic manufacturing hub of Samsung’s global supply chain, accounting for over 50% of the group's total production output.

Speaking at the meeting, General Director of Samsung Vietnam Na Ki Hong expressed his sincere appreciation to the Government of Vietnam, the Ministry of Public Security and Thai Nguyen province for their active support and timely assistance in dealing with the enterprise’s challenges, contributing to creating favorable conditions for the continued development of Samsung Vietnam in general and SEVT in particular.

He also affirmed that Vietnam’s stable political security and social order is a key factor reinforcing Samsung’s confidence in expanding its long-term investment in the country.

For his part, Minister Luong Tam Quang extended his congratulations to SEVT on its outstanding achievements, and acknowledged the company’s strict compliance with the  Vietnamese laws.

The Minister called on Samsung Vietnam to continue supporting Vietnamese enterprises in joining the global production and supply chain, while fostering partnerships between Vietnamese digital technology companies and Samsung’s digital ecosystem.

He also hoped that the company will  further cooperation with the Ministry of Public Security in developing the security industry, while suggesting enhancing worker welfare policies, promoting social security initiatives, improving and protecting the environment, and ensuring safety and security at its business and manufacturing facilities.

Minister Luong Tam Quang wished that Samsung Vietnam would continue its sustainable and prosperous growth, moving forward with Vietnam into a strong and modern development era.

Within the framework of the working trip, Minister Luong Tam Quang also visited Vina Technology Co., Ltd., a company specializing in manufacturing and supplying products for Samsung’s Tier-1 suppliers as well as various major domestic and international corporations.
