#25 Years of Vietnam-US Relations

PSNews - On September 10, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and US President Joseph Biden issued a Joint Leaders’ Statement on elevating the Vietnam-US ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership. Nearly thirty years since the normalisation of ties, Vietnam-United States relationship has been elevated to the highest diplomatic tier.

Many people had doubts when Vietnam and the US announced normalisation of their relations because of existing “war wounds”. However, the Vietnam-US relation has remarked countless memorable events over the last 25 years. These are honored as historical events.
