#apec food security week

The Food and Agriculture Organisation of the UN (FAO) will continue accompanying Vietnam and supporting the country to implement underway programmes and projects, Assistant Director-General and FAO Regional Representative for Asia and the Pacific Kundhavi Kadiresan has said.

A seminar on building a farm produce manufacturing and consuming system adaptable to climate change took place in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on August 18.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will organise the APEC 2017 Food Security Week and a High-Level Policy Dialogue on Enhancing Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture in Response to Climate Change in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho, from August 18 to 25.
