Vietnam shipped a total of 210,370 tonnes of coffee worth US$482.43 million abroad in March, with exports to Indonesia, Russia, and Algeria witnessing a triple-digit growth, according to figures released by the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

The price of Arabica coffee in 2020 is expected to undergo a rebound due to an overall decline in global coffee exports occurring simultaneously alongside an increase in the world’s overall demand for coffee, according to the Import and Export Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has taken numerous measures to develop and protect the brand name of Arabica coffee grown in Cau Dat district, Da Lat City.

TOKYO – Arabica coffee, a strong product of Vietnam, was promoted at the SCAJ World Specialty Coffee Conference and Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan, on September 30.
