PSNews - The Australian Embassy in Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology kicked off the "Yuemdumu doors" on December 8, in Hanoi, aiming to bring Australia's unique indigenous culture to local people and deepen the people-to-people link between the two countries.

“Australia has refocused much of our development program in Vietnam to respond to COVID-19. We are supporting Vietnam by ensuring access to the best available economic analysis as the country shifts its focus toward stimulus and recovery. We are also supporting Vietnam’s efforts to protect the most vulnerable, especially women and girls who carry much of the burden as a result of the pandemic.” Ambassador Mudie said. 

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison will focus on strengthening economic, security and people to people cooperation between Australia and Vietnam during his forthcoming visit to Vietnam from August 22-24.

The first Australia-Vietnam Vice-Ministerial Security Dialogue was held in the Australian capital of Canberra on December 11-12.
