Deposit interest rates continue to decrease
Commercial joint stock banks have continued to lower deposit interest rates since the middle of this month, a move that is expected to help reduce lending rates and support businesses.

Besides reducing transaction fees and rescheduling loans, local banks have begun to cut deposit rates as part of a broader plan to lower lending rates in the future to help businesses cushion the impact of Covid-19.
