A device that can produce electricity from sunlight while simultaneously purifying water has been produced by researchers, an invention they say could solve two problems in one stroke.
The Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) chapter in Ho Chi Minh City on April 12-15 handed over four clean water facilities to the border guard forces and residents in the border areas of the Central Highlands provinces of Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Nong and Dak Lak.
The central city of Da Nang will speed up the construction of key water plants – the Cau Do, Hoa Trung and Hoa Lien – in order to supply 250,000 cubic metres of clean water each day by 2019-2020.
