Southern public security students excited at dance competition
PSNews- On May 7, the closing ceremony of the 2017 Social and Cheerleading Dance Festival of Public Security universities and colleges in the Southern Region with the theme "Colors of Youth" took place at the People's Security University (Linh Trung ward, Thu Duc district, Ho Chi Minh City).
Workers with degrees make up 21.39% of labour force
The number of Vietnamese workers holding college and university degrees or higher accounted for 21.39 percent of the labour force in the last quarter of 2016, up 0.41 percentage point from a quarter earlier and 1.19 percentage points year on year.
Overhaul set for guest-worker program
The Vietnam government has announced sweeping changes to the guest worker program, in a bid to dramatically increase the number of skilled labourers working in foreign markets.
