Hanoi records first community case of Omicron variant
The Hanoi Department of Health has unveiled that the capital has so far recorded 14 cases of the Omicron variant of the COVID-19 pandemic, including one case in the community.

Vietnam recorded a further 25 new domestic cases of COVID-19, including 23 in Bac Giang epicenter, one in Lang Son, one imported infection which was isolated immediately after entry in Hanoi, the Ministry of Health reported on May 27 morning.
Quang Ninh suspends public transport after community case detected
The northern border province of Quang Ninh has decided to suspend transport services, after a community case was announced by the Ministry of Health early the same day.
