 The Naval Region 2 Command sends delegations to visit, offer Tet greetings, and examine the combat readiness of personnel on DK1 platforms, Radar Station 590, vessels on guard, and agencies in Con Dao district.

Border guards in Ba Ria Vung Tau province said they successfully completed an operation to save four fishermen on July 19 whose fishing vessel sank in the waters off of Con Dao island.

A ceremony was held at Hang Duong cemetery in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province on April 26 to celebrate 40 years since Con Dao was recognised as a special national historical site (1979-2019).

An air route using helicopters to connect Vung Tau city and Con Dao island district of the southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau will be launched on April 26.

The schedule of 12 flights to and from the Con Dao airport in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau has been adjusted due to a drill held by the Con Dao district’s Military Command near the airport on May 29-30.
