The 8th plenum of the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam wrapped up in Hanoi on October 6 after five days of working, completing all items on the agenda.
War veteran association’s sixth congress concludes
The sixth National Congress of the Vietnam War Veterans’ Association (VWVA) wrapped up on December 15 with the introduction of a 98-member Central Committee for the 2017-2022 period led by Sen. Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Van Duoc.
