On the morning of January 27, 2023 (the 6th of the Lunar New Year), the Youth Union chapter of the Son La Provincial Police Department received information that Hoang Quang Huy (6 years old, residing in Hat Lot town, Mai Son district) has been adopted and reared the local police was treated at Son La Provincial General Hospital and in urgent need of blood for emergency treatment.

A large field hospital in Hanoi providing treatment for 500 COVID-19 patients in critical condition will be inaugurated on August 31 after one-month construction.

Vietnam currently has 95 COVID-19 patients with severe prognosis, making up 3.1% of the overall number of cases nationwide, including 25 who remain in a critical condition, according to information provided by the Ministry of Health’s Treatment Subcommittee.

Vietnamese doctors are treating 14 severely ill patients with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, including one at risk of mortality.
