Doctors successfully reconnect man’s hand in emergency surgery
PSNews – Doctors from the Can Tho Central General Hospital in June announced that they have successfully reconnected the severed left hand to the arm of a 32-year-old patient.
Ho Chi Minh City has set a target of having 18 doctors and 42 hospital beds per 10,000 residents in 2018 so as to increase the quality of health check-ups and treatment.
The number of new cancer diagnoses in Vietnam is forecast to hit 200,000 in 2020, nearly doubling from 126,000 cases in 2010, with health experts warning that the rise will add to the burden already weighing upon the healthcare system.
