Vietnam has expressed its grave concern at China’s announcement of a military drill by the mouth of the Tonkin Gulf, said Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang at a press briefing on August 31 in Hanoi.

The Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences hosted a seminar in Moscow on October 7 reviewing the East Sea situation following the ruling of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague, Netherlands, on the Philippines' lawsuit against China.
