The Treatment Subcommittee under the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control confirmed four more fatalities on the morning of July 12 relating to COVID-19 and underlying health conditions.
Two additional COVID-19 patients have died in Ho Chi Minh City and Bac Giang province, thereby taking the total number of fatalities to 112, the Ministry of Health announced on July 10.
Three more local patients have died of severe underlying health conditions and COVID-19, bringing the national fatality count up to 105, the Treatment Subcommittee under the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control said on July 8.
The Sub-committee for Treatment under the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on June 5 afternoon announced another death related to COVID-19, the 52 nd fatality in the country to date.
A total of 48 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected domestically across three localities, including 35 in Bac Giang, 11 Bac Ninh, and two in Hanoi, according to a report by the Ministry of Health released at noon on May 31.
