Quan ho festival offers diverse activities

Various activities kicked off in the northern province of Bac Ninh on February 14 as part of an ongoing festival marking a decade since the Quan ho Bac Ninh folk songs were recognised by UNESCO as part of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

The southern province of Binh Dinh will hold a ceremony on May 5 for the receiving of a certificate from UNESCO recognising “Bai Choi” singing, a popular folklore style of singing in the central and south central regions of Vietnam, as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
