Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hosted a reception for President of the Communist Party of Brazil Luciana Santos and its leadership in Brasilia on September 24 as part of his official visit to the South American country.

The Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association (VJFA), the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association and the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam held a ceremony to mark the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries in Hanoi on September 18. 

The Vietnam-Italy Friendship Association (VIFA) in collaboration with the Hanoi University organised an exchange on May 30 to mark the 72nd anniversary of the National Day of Italy and the 45th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic ties.
