Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held a meeting with former Japanese Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide on December 18 in Tokyo within the framework of his trip to the East Asian nation for the Commemorative Summit for the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hosted a reception for Liu Ning, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, in Hanoi on March 31.

Amid the ongoing fight against COVID-19, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has emphasized that taking on the epidemic is like being a fight against an enemy, with more drastic measures necessary, including intensifying immigration control and keeping a minimum of two metres apart when in public.
