100,000 green trees planted in Bac Kan
Around 100,000 green trees worth about VND930 million were planted at the Na Tu historical relic site in the northern province of Bac Kan on August 2, as part of the “One million green trees for Vietnam” fund.
Green trees in Ho Chi Minh City are continuously falling victim to damage and illegal chopping while authorities are powerless to step-in due to a lack of specific authorization.
