#highest in three years

The consumer price index (CPI) in the first quarter of 2017 rose by 4.96% year on year, higher than the respective figures of the previous three years (4.83% in 2014, 0.74% in 2015 and 1.25% in 2016), according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
