COVID-19: Mutated variants B.1.1.7 & B.1.617.2 found in Da Nang

Many of the COVID-19 patients in Da Nang city, a coronavirus hotspot in Vietnam, have carried either the variant B.1.1.7 first detected in the United Kingdom or the variant B.1.617.2 from India, according to the Ministry of Health.
