The numbers of traffic accidents, fatalities and injuries in the first seven months of 2023 declined from the same period last year, reported the National Traffic Safety Committee.

The Ministry of Transport reports that the country saw 7,490 traffic accidents with 3,476 deaths and 5,762 injuries over the first five months of the year.

Traffic accidents have killed 2,788 people and injured more than 4,600 others in the first four months of the year, according to the National Traffic Safety Committee.

Police said on Thursday the cause of death of a man at the scene of a van attack on Muslim worshippers in London this week was his multiple injuries.
