Inspection Team No. 1 of the Public Security Central Party Committee led by Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang had a meeting on May 23, 2023, in Lang Son, to review the draft report on the inspection of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee’s leadership over the implementation of Directive No. 12-CT/TW promulgated on January 5, 2017, by the Politburo on "Strengthening the Party's leadership of the work of ensuring economic security in the context of developing a socialist-oriented market economy and international economic integration”.

The People's Security Academy under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a scientific seminar themed "Ensuring economic security in the context of socialist-oriented market economy development and international economic integration of Vietnam".

The Party Central Committee's Secretariat on July 9 held a national conference to roll out the Politburo's Resolution No. 51-NQ/TW dated September 5, 2019 on national security strategy and to review three years of implementing the Politburo's Directive No. 12-CT/TW (Directive No.12) dated January 5, 2017 on strengthening the Party's leadership over economic security in developing the socialist-oriented market economy and promoting international economic integration.

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on November 5 signed a resolution on effectively implementing international economic integration, maintaining social political stability in the context of Vietnam’s participation in new-generation free trade agreements.
