PSNews - On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Lieu (Quarter 1, Vinh Loi, Rach Gia Ward, An Giang Province) and Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Boi (Quarter 5, An Hoa, Rach Gia Ward, An Giang Province) on the afternoon of July 25, 2026.

Collecting DNA samples of unidentified martyrs’ relatives is a highly humanistic programme that is “an order from the heart” and reflects the sense of responsibility towards the persons laying down their lives for the Fatherland’s independence and freedom, as well as the people’s happiness, said PM Pham Minh Chinh.
