Vietnam’s military and police forces conducted a comprehensive joint rehearsal at National Military Training Centre No. 4 in Hanoi on July 17 in preparation for the grand celebration marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).

Ho Chi Minh City provided additional and booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccine to local residents from December 10.

Military forces have been on the ground assisting residents in Ho Chi Minh City with the process of buying essential items at supermarkets during the tighter social distancing period in the city to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

A large number of police and military forces were deployed to ensure security in southern provinces of Thailand with schools re-opening on November 2, reported the country’s media.
