The ancient town of Hoi An in the central province of Quang Nam saw the reopening of its pedestrian street on February 15, in addition to allowing non-motorised vehicles to operate, although tickets for sightseeing activities in the town’s old quarter have not yet gone on sale yet.

PSNews - The central coastal city of Da Nang will set up a new pedestrian zone with a night market near Tran Thi Ly Bridge. The night market will sell goods, souvenirs and food while the remainder of the pedestrian zone will be used to hold cultural and entertainment activities.

The Deputy Chairman of the Danang People's Committee Dang Viet Dung on November 1 chaired a meeting to discuss the project of developing Bach Dang pedestrian street as well as a night market in Hai Chau District.

The capital city of Hanoi will not open pedestrian streets around Hoan Kiem (Sword) lake and the Old Quarter before, during and after the Lunar New Year (Tet) because many people in the city are going to the countryside.
