Pedestrian streets around Hoan Kiem lake at the heart of Hanoi will suspend activities during the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival from January 20 (or the 29th day of the last lunar month).
The walking zone surrounding the Hoan Kiem Lake and Old Quarter in downtown Hanoi re-opened from March 18 after months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A large street festival was held on the pedestrian streets around Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi on July 29 morning to mark 10 years of administrative boundary adjustment of the capital city.
