National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan hosted a reception for Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Martin Chungong on the sidelines of a conference themed “The National Assembly and the sustainable development goals” held in the central coastal city of Da Nang on December 17. 

As part of its foreign policy, Vietnam has always and will continue to consider Russia a reliable and leading partner, said General Secretary of the Communist Party Central Committee (CPVCC) and President Nguyen Phu Trong at a reception for visiting Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in Hanoi on November 19.

The Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) will strive to build a contingent of officials with competence, virtue and reputation befitting their duties.

Vietnam and China issued a Joint Communiqué on the occasion of the official visit to China by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong from January 12-15 at the invitation of Party General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping.
