Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc worked with authorities of the Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu in Ho Chi Minh City on January 12 to evaluate its socio-economic performance and discuss a number of major projects in the locality.

Lawmakers reviewed the socio-economic performance so far this year and the three-year implementation of the 2016-2020 socio-economic development plan during the ongoing sixth session in Hanoi on October 26, which was broadcast live nationwide.

The National Assembly Standing Committee began its 24th session on May 14 with discussions on the Government’s supplementary report on socio-economic performance in 2017. 

The implementation of 2017 socio-economic development and state budget plans topped the agenda of the National Assembly’s year-end session on November 1 in Hanoi.

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc on March 1 chaired a Cabinet meeting to review socio-economic performance in February and discuss ways to accelerate economic growth as planned.
