The National Assembly (NA) of Vietnam and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation reaffirmed their determination to promote the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia during the second meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee between the two parliaments on October 16 in Hanoi.

The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin, will pay an official visit to Vietnam from June 25-26.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc highlighted cooperation opportunities for Vietnam and Russia to boost trade and investment ties at a reception in Hanoi on December 24 for Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin.
