The Ministry of Health (MoH) has proposed suspending activities which may lead to crowding, such as entertainment centres, festivals, and religious rituals in localities that are at a high risk of COVID-19 infection during the upcoming Lunar New Year, known locally as Tet.

The Hanoi Department of Health confirmed on December 1 that it has suspended COVID-19 vaccinations for two batches of shelf-life Pfizer vaccines that had extended expiration dates.

Two top officials of Hai Cang ward, Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh, namely Secretary of the Party Committee Nguyen Van Nghi, and Chairman of People’s Committee Nguyen Quang Thanh, were suspended from their posts.
