Success of the August Revolution in 1945 was the first Victory of Vietnam since the country was led by the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The French Communist Party (PCF) pays much attention to initiatives to develop its relations with the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), including the organisation of regular visits and meetings, said Denis Rondepierre, Politburo member and standing member of the Secretariat of the PCF.
