The Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam has received petitions from Hung Nghiep Formosa Ltd Company and Youl Chon Vina Plastic JSC which request an anti-dumping investigation on Biaxial Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) film originating from China, Thailand and Malaysia. 

The Ministry of Industry and Trade sees supporting the manufacturing and processing industry as the key to boosting socio-economic development this year.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) issued Decision No.2574/QD-BCT on amending two decisions dated September 1, 2016 and March 30, 2017 on taking anti-dumping measures against imported plated steel.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has removed the inspection of formaldehyde content in textile and garment products that cause many difficulties to enterprises.
