PSNews - The Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union held a gathering on Nguyen Hue pedestrian mall in the heart of the city on March 5 on the occasion of the 113th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8) and the 1,983rd anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung (Trung Sisters) Uprising.

PSNews - As part of the "Ao Dai – Vietnamese Cultural Heritage” project launched by the Vietnam Women’s Union, on April 6, a fashion event was kicked off with the aim of honouring the cultural value of Vietnam's traditional long dess. 

Female local and foreign visitors will be able to enjoy free admission to relic sites in Hue city from March 7-9 if they wear a traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai, according to Phan Ngoc Tho, Chairman of the Thua Thien Hue province People’s Committee.

Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh has been selected as an ambassador of media images at the Ao Dai festival set to take place March 3-17 in Ho Chi Minh City, Tran Vinh Tuyen, vice chairman of the municipal People’s Committee said at a recent press briefing on the event.
