Digital COVID-19 vaccine passport with personal details and vaccination information will be issued nationwide after a trial period. Vietnam has to date recorded over 10 million COVID-19 infections, of whom nearly 8.5 million have been given the all-clear.
After one year implementing the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, Vietnam has administered nearly 197.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines on people living in the country, becoming one of the six countries with the highest vaccination coverage in the world.
The Prime Minister has assigned the Ministry of Health (MoH) to immediately carry out necessary procedures to purchase COVID-19 vaccines for children aged 5 to 11.
