Of the total sales, passenger cars accounted for the largest share with 12,376 units, down 53% month-on-month. Commercial vehicles followed with 6,542 units, a decrease of 37%, while 360 specialised vehicles were sold, down 22% from the previous month.

PSNews – Recently, the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA) has published a report related to Vietnam’s automobile market. Accordingly, automobile sales totalled just over 11,700 units in April, down 39% compared to March and 44% year-on-year.

The automobile market is expected to set a new record in sales this year with VAMA members and TC Motors selling an average nearly 32,000 cars each month in January-September.
