With an average growth rate of 20% per annum, Vietnam is ranked among the top five countries recording the highest e-commerce growth in the world.

A webinar on e-commerce opportunities in Singapore and countries in the region for Vietnamese goods was held on July 21 by the Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore, the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Department of Asia-Africa Markets and the Vietnam E-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency (iDEA).

The Centre of Information and Digital Technology of the Vietnam E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade is expected to launch a system to ensure transactions in e-commerce from now until the end of the year.

PSNews – The Vietnam e-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade in cooperation with the General Department of Market Management recently removed 7,561 online shops selling 18,725 unlawful products on major e-commerce platforms and websites.

The Vietnam E-Pavilion on e-commerce platforms was rolled out by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT)’s E-Commerce and Digital Economy Department in Ho Chi Minh City on December 2.

E-commerce platforms are trying to emulate the famous Black Friday sale in the US with a massive advertising campaign announcing attractive discounts.
