Addressing the opening session of the 13th Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union National Congress for the 2026–2031 term in Hanoi on June 25, the Party and State leader told 788 delegates representing more than 5.1 million HCYU members and nearly 22 million young people nationwide that the country is entering a new stage of development in which young people are not only inheritors of the revolutionary cause but also direct architects of the future.

The forum also focused on the role and responsibilities of Vietnamese and Chinese youth in steadfastly upholding and creatively applying the path of national independence associated with socialism in the present context.

The four-day 15th Summer Camp for young overseas Vietnamese, which kicked off on July 26 in Ho Chi Minh City, has attracted about 45 participants aged 12-25 from countries and territories worldwide.

As many as 28 Vietnamese young leaders will embark on a 52-day voyage with their regional peers with the Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Programme (SSEAYP) from October 23 to December 13.

Vietnam youth eagerly took part in the launch ceremony of the national startup program 2016 at Hanoi National University on October 17 and expected to make good opportunities happen.
