#Vietnam’s COVID-19 fight

The Belgian Foreign Ministry handed over 100,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Vietnam, while several Vietnamese organisations, businesses and intellectuals in Europe also presented medical supplies worth millions of USD to support the country's fight against COVID-19.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has handed over medical supplies and consumables to the Vietnamese Ministry of Health as part of its continuing support to the country's COVID-19 fight.

Representative of the World Health Organisation (WHO) to Vietnam Kidong Park praised Vietnam’s achievements in COVID-19 prevention and control in an interview given to the Vietnam News Agency on January 22.
