PSNews - The World Bank and Standard Chartered Bank forecast Vietnam’s recovery will accelerate markedly in 2022, with GDP growing by 5.5 percent to 6.7 percent. According to international economists, this forecast is considered a possible mission. However, the growth also depends on the evolution of the pandemic.

Vietnam’s GDP growth is expected to rebound to 7% in 2021, driven by a recovery in external demand, a resilient domestic economy, and increased production capacity, according to the preliminary assessment by the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO).

Vietnam’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is projected to grow 6.7% by 2021 and will continue to rank among the leading economies in the Asia-Pacific region in terms of having the highest growth rate, according to the recently published World Economic Outlook by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
