Pfizer and VNVC expressed pride in their longstanding cooperation towards the shared goal of helping improve the health and quality of life of Vietnamese people, and voiced their wish to continue discussions and explore further opportunities to protect and improve public health.

Three batches of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, consisting of a total of 2,016,460 doses, touched down in Ho Chi Minh City by air on September 1.

As many as 921,400 AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine doses arrived at Ho Chi Minh City-based Tan Son Nhat International Airport on Thursday morning.

AstraZeneca delivered more than 920,000 doses of its COVID-19 vaccine on July 15 morning to the Vietnam Vaccine Joint Stock Company (VNVC), a local private firm that has been authorised by the Ministry of Health to import COVID-19 vaccines.

The Vietnam Vaccine Joint Stock Company (VNVC) on July 9 received an additional 580,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Oxford University and AstraZeneca.

PSNews – An inter-ministerial working mission has proposed the Prime Minister to accept Vietnam Vaccine JSC (VNVC) to import 30 million AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine doses  and then transfer them to the Ministry of Health on a non-profit basis.
