Vietnam at risk of losing pepper export markets due to high freight costs
Vietnam is at risk of losing out on major pepper export markets due to increasing logistics costs, according to the Vietnam Pepper Association (VPA).
Vietnam will be able to boost its wood exports when the Vietnam-European Union Voluntary Partnership Agreement on Forest Law Enforcement, Governance, and Trade (VPA/FLEGT) takes effect, said Permanent Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Ha Cong Tuan.
Vietnam and the European Union (EU) have agreed in principle on a Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade Voluntary Partnership Agreement (FLEGT VPA).
