The Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic and the Czech-Vietnamese Education Center have recently organised a seminar in Prague for the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES),with the aim to boost protection of endangered animals.

The Director of Save Vietnam's Wildlife, Nguyen Van Thai, has become the first Vietnamese wildlife conservationist and the only Asian so far to receive the 2021 Goldman Environmental Prize - the world’s most prestigious award for grassroots environmental activists.

Vietnam will honour organisations and individuals with great contributions to wildlife conservation in the 2010-2020 period.

PSNews - Thanks to local people's notification and drastic actions of the relevant authorities, about 521 wildlife were rescued nationwide in 2018, according to the report of the Education for Nature - Vietnam (ENV).
