Central Council for Emulation and Commendation’s Inspection Team works with Ministry of Public Security

The Inspection Team of the Central Council for Emulation and Commendation (CCEC) led by Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice State President, First Vice President of the CCEC, on December 20 worked with the Ministry of Public Security.

The event saw the presence of General To Lam, Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security; Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Ms. Tran Thi Ha, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Deputy Chairwoman of the Central Council for Emulation and Commendation; Mr. Chu Van Yem, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Office, among others.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam underlined that, in 2019, more than 125,000 public security units and individuals were honored and awarded. He also reported that nine police officers bravely sacrificed their lives for national security protection and 304 police officers were injured while performing their duties.

He believed that the recommendation work should be conducted regularly and effectively to honor examples of “Good deeds” and “Good persons” and encourage officers and soldiers of People’s Public Security Forces to successfully accomplish their assignments.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh urged the whole Public Security Forces to successfully fulfill the assigned tasks in the coming time, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety in all localities of the country while beautifying the image of public security soldiers in the people’s hearts.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong affirmed that, the Public Security Forces will take innovative approaches to implement the Party's guidelines and the State’s policies and laws on emulation and commendation to encourage all public security officers and soldiers to successfully fulfill their assigned political tasks.
