Within the framework of a business trip to Bac Lieu province, Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue paid pre-Lunar New Year to the armed forces of Bac Lieu province, on the afternoon of January 25.

At the meeting, on behalf of the armed forces of Bac Lieu province, Director of the Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Ho Viet Trieu reported to the Chairman of the National Assembly his entourage on the situation and results of theit task performance and the national defense and security situation in the province in 2023.

The report read, in the past year, the armed forces of Bac Lieu province have coordinated in analyzing the security situation and forecast situational developments to promptly advise the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee on policies and solutions to effectively implement local defense and security work.

Police at all levels regularly worked with the military and border guard forces to conduct more than 2,300 patrols across the province while firmly protecting maritime sovereignty and ensuring security and order in border and coastal localities.

Speaking at the working session, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue praised the achievements of the armed forces of Bac Lieu province in 2023.

The Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized that the armed forces of Bac Lieu province continue to promote their core role in advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to perform local defense and security work, spread the “all-people nation defense, contributing together with the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army to successfully carry out the task of socio-economic development of the province.
