Minister of Public Security General To Lam and Minister of National Defense General Phan Van Giang, leading high-ranking delegations of the two ministries, visited the 2022 Vietnam International Defense Exhibition, on the afternoon of December 8.

The 2022 Vietnam International Defense Expo was hosted by the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam, officially opened at Gia Lam Airport, Hanoi, on the morning of December 8, and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh was chaired the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

At the exhibition, Vietnamese defense and security products are displayed and introduced by agencies and units of the Ministry of National Defense and the Department of Security Industry under the Ministry of Public Security.

During the visit, Minister To Lam and Minister Phan Van Giang as well as other delegates from the two ministries visited the booth displayed products researched and manufactured by the Department of Security Industry under the Ministry of Public Security.

Under the approval of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the Security Industry Department displays and introduces 91 specialized and dual-use security products manufactured in Vietnam by manufacturers managed by the department as well as by joint ventures between public security units with other enterprises outside the Public Security Forces in recent years.

Security products on display include five groups: Technology, vehicle, fire equipment, spare parts; police support tools and professional equipment.

The Security Industry Department displays and introduces 91 specialized and dual-use security products manufactured in Vietnam at the event.

In addition, the Security Industry Department also introduces the dual-use security products, special technological solutions, special vehicles, fire equipment and supplies, which are not on a secret.

These products, machinary and techonological solutions are researched and produced by Thien Viet International Investment Joint Stock Company – a non-public security enterprise and public security factories.

At the exhibition, the two ministers stated that the 2022 International Defense Exhibition creates opportunities for both defense industry and security industry to expand international cooperation, study new defense and security industry development trends in the world and diversify procurement channels, seek technology transfer, and produce equipment and logistical products for domestic use and export, contributing to firmly protecting the Fatherland.
