Minister To Lam works with leaders of Hai Duong province

A delegation of the Public Security Central Party Committee led by Politburo Member and Minister  General To Lam, had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Hai Duong.

The event saw the presence of Mr. Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Le Van Hieu, Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Mr. Trieu The Hung, Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

At the meeting, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang briefed the delegates on the results of Party building of the local Party organization as well as achievements gained by the authorities and people of Hai Duong in promoting socio-economic development and ensuring security and order in 2023 and the first quarter of 2024.

At the same time, the Standing Board of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee requested the Minister of Public Security and the Working Group to assist the local leadership in addressing issues in the province related tothe implementation of Project 06,  discharges causing water pollution in the Bac Hung Hai irrigation system, regulations on planning and arrangement of land used for security as well as fire prevention and fighting plans in accordance with actual local conditions.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Minister To Lam praised the results and achievements Hai Duong province has achieved in recent times.

Minister To Lam suggested that Hai Duong get a comprehensive insight into the general local context, clearly identify the local potential and advantages to set key tasks to complete and goals, to achieve in the coming time.

According to the Politburo Member, Hai Duong province should continue to closely follow the leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee, the Government and the National Assembly, especially the Resolution No. 30-NQ/TW issued on November 23 by the Politburo on promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the Red River Delta until 2030 with a vision to 2045, and Resolution of the 17th Hai Duong Provincial Party Congress.

General To Lam also underscored three major security and order tasks in Hai Duong.

He hoped that the Party organizations, authorities and people of Hai Duong would join hands to effectively fulfil all tasks set by the 17th Hai Duong Provincial Party Congress, striving to turn Hai Duong into a leading province in the Red River Delta.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Tran Duc Thang thanked the MPS leaders and units for the affection, concern, coordination and support for socio-economic development, security and defense as well as the building of the police force in the province.

He also stressed that Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee would strive to fulfill all given tasks in the coming time.
