Ministry of Public Security works out 6 solution groups to support businesses

General To Lam, Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security, affirmed that, in the coming time, the Ministry of Public Security will work out six solution groups to help enterprises restore and further develop their production and business activities.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on May 9 chaired a video conference with enterprises nationwide themed "Joining efforts to overcome challenges, take opportunities and restore the economy". The video conference was connected to 93 venues of the cities, provinces and ministries.

Speaking at the meeting, General To Lam, Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security, affirmed that, in the coming time, the Ministry of Public Security will work out six solution groups to help enterprises restore and further develop their production and business activities.

According to Minister To Lam, the first solution group is to grasp the security situation and precisely forecast the impacts of the security situation on promoting production and business, while preparing plans to address emerging problems related to economic security, social order and safety, and effectively preventing law violations, contributing to creating a favorable and safe environment for enterprises to do their production and business activities in line with the Ministry of Public Security’s view "security for development and  development for security".

Secondly, the Ministry of Public Security will advise the Prime Minister on trade remedies as well as preventing,  promptly detecting and handling violations related to  unfair trade, tax evasion, manipulation of domestic market and exports.

Thirdly, the Public Security Forces will strengthen the State management over security and social order with a focus on the management of residence and population, the management of weapons, explosives, support tools, and the management of security conditional investment and business lines.

The minister affirmed, the Ministry of Public Security will facilitate immigration procedures for overseas Vietnamese and foreigners, especially experts, economic managers or high-quality workers working for FDI projects.

The fourth solution group that the People's Public Security Forces will implement is promoting administrative reforms and simplify business conditions as well as specialized inspection procedures for conditional business lines.

The fifth solution group that the Ministry of Public Security is implementing is to assess the world economic situation after the COVID -19 pandemic, especially the economic and financial instabilities in  the world, in order to promptly give advise the Prime Minister on solutions to domestic production, and export production.

Regarding last solution group mentioned by Minister To Lam, the Ministry of Public Security will forecast the possible threats to the safety of workers, and security and order in industrial parks, export processing zones, economic zones and border economic zones in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
